On November 26th, 2000, Mary Cathryn Roth
was awarded the Saint-Jovan Kukuzel Medal for Accomplishment
in the Arts by the Agency of Emigration of the Republic
of Macedonia. The medal is named in honor of the 13th century
Byzantine musician and mystic, Jovan Kukuzel.
In conjunction with the award, the Agency
of Emigration will organize a special exhibition of the artist's
work in the Republic of Macedonia.
